• Dawn Sharpe-Brackett Chief Executive Officer In 2007, the Board of Directors asked Dawn, a current board member since 2003 to take over the CEO position at the Chamber, which she gladly accepted.  She is Certified Legal Assistant, Louisiana Notary Public and has obtained her IOM from the U.S. Chamber Institute for Organized Non-Profit Management.  A native of Slidell, Dawn is active with the citizens, public officials and community, as a whole, to assist the region focus on planned smart growth for the future.  Dawn was recently honored to be presented the Louisiana Legislative Women’s Caucus 2012 Women of Excellence Award for Business.

• Ann Bowser Executive Assistant Chamber membership is an excellent opportunity to market your business, meet other business people in our community and the surrounding area, and stay informed via the Chamber on legislative issues.  The Chamber also provides educational opportunities covering a wide variety of topics as well as small business counseling through SBSC and SCORE.   Oh yes, and did I mention all of this while working with a great group of business and community leaders that make it interesting and fun!
